God meeting you along the road

I've been in a kind of health slump lately. Been flirting with asthma for the past several weeks, probably influenced by work-related stress. But I've been finding a way to deal with the madness, and once again, the feeling of "right where I belong" has come back. Yay!

The universe does lead you to the path where you're meant. Just keep moving, stay trusting, not letting go of that certainty even in prolonged vagueness.

Today, as I let the silence and peace of the weekend sink in, I realized that yes, I am thankful for having stumbled into my present work. I have not been been an ardent defender of and advocate of the environment before, but now that I find myself unexpectedly part of a group of people helping streamline a bill that strives to ensure the environment's future health, it just feels nice somehow ... knowing that what you do does not stop with you, but extends outward to others.

My life has been filled with road-turns and an endless shifting of train tracks, but this much is certain ... God *does* meet you along the road. Things always fall into place in a way often pleasantly un-anticipated.

:)
